It bears with it an everlasting faith in our Alma Mater, an eternal hope in her future, and an undying love for her, now and through the years to come.
Senior Class of the University of Chattanooga, Moccasin, 1911
It is important to note that while the yearbook was first published in 1911, it wasn't until 1914 and 1915 that the Moccasin was issued again. After a 4 year break, the yearbook had a strong run and was published annually from 1919 until 1933, when it was discontinued again until 1947, with the exception of the 1941 volume. According to a 1947 issue of The University Echo, the Moccassin was discontinued from time to time due to lack of interest by University of Chattanooga students. Students stopped publishing the Moccasin in 1991.
